Chez Panisse
French American cuisine. With both a cafe upstairs and a more fine dining experience downstairs, definitely call in advance to make a reservation at Chez Panisse. Highly recommended by just about anyone you’ll talk to.

Corso
Delicious Italian restaurant that’s sandwiched between the Gourmet Ghetto and Downtown Berkeley. Think chicken soaked in butter. Yea, it’s good. This is a favorite for us.

Picante
Picante Mexican restaurant can get some long lines at dinner, so be careful when you go. But this Mexican restaurant is pretty awesome. Grab a bottle of hot sauce and take it to the table with you.

Cafe Fonda
More Mexican food, but this time it’s Tapa’s with a slightly fancier vibe! Fonda has a fun bar and an assortment of delicious Mexican tapas. Located on Solano Avenue in North Berkeley.

Zachary’s Chicago Pizza
Gabe’s favorite Chicago deep dish pizza. Yup. That’s right, not in Chicago. Give it a try. Couple locations, so check to find which one is closest to you.

Cheeseboard Pizza
Another great pizza place Cassie and Gabe love. They’re cheese rolls and other pastries are also amazing. Make sure you get in the correct line.
